Australian Cotton Trade Show

Following consultation with growers, exhibitors and key industry bodies we have changed the timing and location of the 2015 Australian Cotton Trade Show. The event will be held at Narrabri on the Crossing Theatre grounds 5-6 August, 2015. It will be staged in association with the Cotton Australia AGM, the Cotton Collective Industry Forums and the Cotton Industry Awards. It will also showcase the Australian Cotton Fibre Expo.

These major industry events have been brought together to alternate with the Australian Cotton Conference which is held every second year in early August on the Gold Coast.

The Australian Cotton Industry Awards are a  celebration of excellence, innovation & leadership in the Australian Cotton Industry.

Cotton Collective Industry Forum

Cotton Australia invites growers and industry to attend the upcoming Cotton Collective to be held on Wednesday 5 August, 2015. The event will be hosted at the Crossing Theatre, Narrabri NSW. Growers travelling to Narrabri can make the most of their time in town, with a number of major cotton industry events being held during the first week of August, including the Australian Cotton Trade Show (August 5-6), and the Cotton Australia Annual General Meeting and the Australian Cotton Industry Awards evening (August 5).

Sold annually are 25-30 select bulls through our Annual on property Bull Sale, held in July and also through private treaty.  We additionally offer 1-2 select sires through the Hereford Australia Dubbo National Show and Sale, to showcase amongst the breed what we are trying to achieve as a stud. In conjunction with our Bull Sale is our Annual Open Day, where Sires and Females from our Autumn program are on display to demonstrate consistency and type.

Work commences on $41m cotton redevelopment

Cotton Seed Distributors (CSD), the Australian cotton industry’s primary seed supplier, has commenced site work on the $41 million development of its ‘Shenstone’ cotton seed processing plant and laboratory near Wee Waa in north-west NSW.
